Enhancements to usability in Rillsoft Project 9.0 and More Portfolio Properties Window Expand and Collapse Portfolio Properties Windows by Directories To simplify handling complex directory structures and a larger number of projects, the GUI for project portfolio properties has been revised. The new GUI provides a more user-friendly and organized presentation of project portfolios and their properties. Some of the new features include: The introduction of free-text filter functionality (allowing multi-word queries) Expand and collapse subfolders in directory structures The display of the most recently selected projects/directories Filtering and sorting of projects based on various criteria such as project name, status, start and end dates, etc.

LDAPs as Standard

LDAPs in Rillsoft Integration Server With Rillsoft Integration Server 9, we are making LDAPs the standard setting, enabling LDAP signing and LDAP channel binding. The prerequisite for this is that your systems that use the LDAP protocol are also prepared for LDAPs. Otherwise, many systems won’t be able to authenticate to your Windows domain. Your advantages are: Security: Compared to the insecure LDAP protocol, LDAPs provides encryption of data traffic through the use of SSL/TLS certificates.

Milestones in Personnel View

Milestones in Personnel View and Displayed in Collapsed Subprojects Milestones in Collapsed Subproject Until now, you could only track milestones as separate diamond-shaped symbols that are visually distinct from other task bars in the Gantt chart and appear as special markers on the timeline. Starting with Rillsoft Project 9, you can also display milestones in resource views such as personnel allocation or capacity matching. The prerequisite is that the corresponding resources are assigned to the milestone.

Update Portfolio

Query and Update Project, Portfolio, and Resource Pool to Reflect the Current State Update Portfolio Starting from Rillsoft Project 9, when working with a portfolio containing projects opened in read-only mode or with individual read-only projects, you can use the “Update Project/Portfolio” button to query and, if necessary, update the opened projects to reflect their current state. The “Update Project/Portfolio” button will be grayed out if you’ve made any changes in the portfolio but haven’t saved them yet.
