Sign in to Rillsoft Cloud: first start in 4 steps
After the installation, you connect Rillsoft Project Cloud to your cloud account. You sign in, select your tenant and then work with the centrally stored project data.
Before you start
- You need a Rillsoft Cloud account. You choose your user name and password yourself during Registration. The account is active as soon as you have entered the confirmation code from the e-mail.
- For customer accounts, your company’s administrators provide the credentials.
- Rillsoft Project Cloud needs an internet connection. The data are stored in Rillsoft Cloud, not on the computer.
Step 1 – Start Rillsoft Project Cloud
Start Rillsoft Project Cloud from the Start menu or the desktop shortcut. On first start, the dialog Rillsoft cloud login appears.
Step 2 – Enter user name and password
The Web Service URL field is preset to https://www.rillsoft.cloud and cannot be changed. The cloud version always connects to Rillsoft Cloud.
Enter the data of your cloud account in the User name and Password fields and click OK.
- Password forgot? opens the page for resetting your password.
- Registration. opens the registration for a free trial account.
Step 3 – Select the tenant
The dialog Rillsoft cloud client lists the tenants your account can access. Select the tenant you want and click OK.
If you chose an industry example during registration, the sandbox tenant appears as a separate entry in this list a few minutes after confirmation.
Step 4 – Start planning
Rillsoft Project loads the tenant’s projects and resource pool from Rillsoft Cloud. No licence activation is needed: the program shows “Cloud version” as the licence type.
Common questions at sign-in
- Sign-in fails. Check user name and password for typos and make sure you have entered the confirmation code from the registration e-mail. If that does not help, reset the password with Password forgot?.
- The expected tenant is missing from the list. Contact your company’s administrators or Support.
- I have questions about using the program. The online documentation describes all functions of Rillsoft Project.
