Install Rillsoft Cloud unattended (silent / MSI)
With the MSI packages, Rillsoft Project Cloud can be installed without any dialogs. This suits automatic software deployment in your network, for example via group policy or a software deployment tool.
Before you start
- The packages run on Windows 10 or Windows 11 (System requirements).
msiexecmust run with administrator rights, for example from a command prompt started as administrator or as the system account of your deployment tool.- Pick the package that matches the Windows architecture of the target computers. On current computers this is usually the 64-bit package.
- The packages install the same desktop app as the setup program
rp100en_cloud.exe. The only difference is that no dialogs appear.
Step 1 – Download the MSI package
Download the matching package:
- rp100en_cloud_x64.msi – for 64-bit systems
- rp100en_cloud_x86.msi – for 32-bit systems
Step 2 – Run the silent installation with msiexec
Run msiexec.exe with administrator rights and the option /qn. An example:
msiexec.exe /i rp100en_cloud_x64.msi /qn INSTALLDIR="C:\Program Files\Rillsoft Project 10.0" DATADIR="C:\ProgramData\Rillsoft Project"
